Call to Action – Help us to Ensure we get Access to Broadcast Media.

We need some more help.

It is very important to all New Zealanders who are Deaf and hard of hearing that you read this article then follow the call to action below it.

We hope you can assist us to ensure access for all to broadcast media, and we very much appreciate your support.

Dear Minister Adams,

It is a travesty that New Zealanders who are Deaf and Hard of Hearing are unable to access the 2015 Cricket World Cup through broadcast captioning, even though people who are Deaf and Hard of Hearing and living in other countries that are participating in the Cricket World Cup, such as Australia and the United Kingdom, have full access through broadcast captioning.

Please minister, when is the progressive realisation of broadcast captioning to enable access to all New Zealanders going to be implemented?
