I think that it is great that the Rio Olympic Games has captioning because….

This means that thousands of Deaf & hard of hearing people will be able to enjoy the games and be able to watch like every hearing person. When I found out that there was going to be captioning at the games I got very excited.

I will be able to watch the Olympics with my family and my school friends. I need to make a lot of cupcakes to help raise money for the captions.

  •  Rozanne Danabie: Captions on all T.V programmes would be huge relief for the many of us who have hearing loss.Trying to manage a day in isolation ,frustration and misunderstandings with communication is exhausting.
  •  Rozanne Danabie: Access to captions on all channels of television would be a delight. Listening to people speaking in everyday life is exhausting and frustrating,for hard of hearing people. Also ,for myself hypercusis,a sensitivity to some sounds ,and loud noise means that isolation can be accentuated even more.
